Anyone ever retro-fit lexus yellow capsules?
Hey, i think "yellow" fogs look great and been looking at diff bulbs and hid kits that are out and none really has the deep yellow color that my is300 has. I found out that its not the bulb that gives the color but lexus uses capsules. Has anyone succesfully retro-fitted these onto an e92?

I've been happy with my Nokya yellow fogs.

Sorry don't have any pics. I know for a fact they are nice and yellow like the IS300, but not 100% match.
Got them from Ebay.

The Lexus yellow caps won't fit in the E92 foglight housing without modifying the housing (cutting it), and fitting over the H8 bulb won't clear that much so the heat will melt or warp the yellow caps.
I played around with it when I first picked up the E92, since I have a ton of the Lexus yellow caps (they work in Audi foglights and lots of Honda/Toyota/Nissan cars). |

3000K HIDs is still too bland looking, and not a true golden yellow. I had some before and I switched out to a "golden" 2000K cheap HID kit and it's been working great for the past 9 months now (no codes). Looks just like the JGTC/GTP cars.
