Idea on e90 grills...

Used to own an 04 e53 x5 4.4i, and loved how the grills were silver throughout, including the inside of the bars. (Like this: http://www.bmwm5.com/temp/x5/Grill-Angel%20eyes.JPG ) Was wondering if this could be applied to an e90, and how it would look, or if anyone has done this before? Opinions?

You could do it, pretty easy with some silver metallic paint. Not sure how it would look, it could work well if you have the silver/chrome theme on the rest of the car. I always suggest keeping things consistent so if you are doing blackout front grills, get rid of all the chrome/silver bits.

Nah I dont have the blackout theme. My car is monaco, so im keeping all the accent pieces silver. I hate chrome though, so I used sandpaper to "scratch" the grills/335 badge so that they look like brushed aluminum. i was also thinking stainless steel tape could work on "wrapping" the grill. itd be a huge pain in the ass though...

Just get some duplicolor paint and spray those slats.
