Just got home.. and the damn car has brake warning alone with other warning picture. I check the manual.. i says.. brake pad need replacement..

I grab the flashlight.. shine it through the wheel.. and all 4 pads looks fine...

Seems like a more and more common problem. I had the same problem, they took off all the wheels, checked the thickness of the pads and rotors, and checked sensors, reset the light, and two days later light came back on. Car needed reprogramming.

someone posts this every day now! seems like one of the most common problems to plague E9xs.

its just the sensors, either they will reprogram them or install new ones and you're good to go.

i had to replace my sensors twice and reprogrammed twice, and now its fine!

i think i do too many e-brake power slides in the rain and i think it messed up the sensors, lol!

Since I replaced my pads, I think my sensor isn't in properly. Oh well, this will at least keep it from going off. I keep a close eye on my brakes anyway.

Depends on how you drive really. I replaced mine because I wanted low dust pads. The stock ones were fine and have planty of life on them.

Just had the same issue at 11700 miles. Did anyone here finally determine if its a programming issue or the sensors? Was there a collective agreement on resolution? (honestly...can anyone on this site come to an agreement!)

Funny it happens right around the same mileage too.
