Advice please, 1 bum tire :-/
Well today I was planning on putting my winter tires away & bringing out the stock summers for my 06 330i.
Long story short one of my tires was giving me issues towards the end of fall last year and I figured i'd get it fixed this summer, well its un-repairable, apparently it came off the track or something and there's an obvious divit on the stock runflat. So should I invenst in 4 new tires, or try to find 1 stock tire with match wear to my remaining 3? The guy said its about half tread left so I'd rather try to salvage them. If anyone has one they're selling its a 225/40R18 88W Bridgestone Portenza |

i guess it depends on your budget, do u want to shelve about half a grand for all new tires? Do you want to stick with runflats? What about keeping your car, how long are you planning to keep it for?
what about the treadlife on the other 3 tires? |

I'm not the best at judging tire depth, so here are the shots of the remaining 3 tires I have compared to a penny, they all go right around lincolns head
they all seem to be in good shape so I may only need the one tire, I'd rather not spend $1k on new tires at the moment :-/ If i were to buy new tires I'd probably go w/o runflats as they're cheaper & I notice a much smoother ride without |
