So, I got into the car yesterday and on pops the airbag warning light for the 4th time this year, 5th in total. It's doing my feckin head in, I'm frightened to move the seats in case it lights up!

It's back to Bavarian, Belfast tomorrow for them to tell me the seat belt pre-tensioner is out of spec yet again.

They were both replaced two months ago under extended warranty so I'm guessing I'll not have to pay the excess this time around as it's repeat fault under the same terms.

So, anyone else in an e92/3 had repeated issues with the airbag system?

Bit of an update while I cruise around in the 116i for the third day...

Seems that they put the wrong seat harnesses in two times ago and they're waiting on a modified part.

Up side is that despite the oil service in May it needs an inspection now so they're doing that as well and lets just say that I don't expect to be receiving an invoice for the work...

So, they've replaced the seat looms and the wiring all the way back to the airbag control module after bringing a Master Tech over from England to look at the car.
Seems they don't want to see it again....

I'll give it three months

Anyway, they did the inspection and a full proper valet so it's all sparkly and clean, until I take it home in the rain later
