86c is better than mine! Mines stay at 80 doing about 80-90mph. Around town it goes to 82 that's max I get.
I'm not sure about the guide, use the search button. Not to difficult apparently, I will be doing mine in a month or so. |

I would its similar to others -
Remove engine cover (5 bolts) Remove EGR stat (might as well replace this at the same time) Undo 2 pipes (might loose a spoonfull of coolant) Remove the EGR cooler (difficult part as one of the torx bolts difficult to get to) Undo main stat/pipes Reversal of the above Bleed system/top up coolant Above is a very simple guide but it is DIY if you are handy with spanners |

I will see if I can dig out the pdf manual a fellow e90 member wrote up
Changing the egr stat alone wont need topping up, but with the main stat you will loose majourity of your coolant. I used 1 bottle of bmw coolant mixed with 1 bottle of water in 50:50 ratio - make sure you buy coolant from BMW £9 a bottle but its the right spec |

Yes, far too low - you will be loosing economy and risking possible future DPF issues.
