Need someone to repair rock chips

Hey guys,
Does anyone know of a professional, or semi professional that can help me to remove rock chips out of my car? I got a good number of rock chips, mostly on my hood from years of highway driving. The big ones are 2-3mm in diameter and goes down to the primer. I bought the Dr. Colorchip and it does make it look a bit better but up close you can see the chip dent. I read that touch up paint can be put on it and be buffed out to make it almost invisible by professional detailers. I don't have the equipment or the experience to do it, and any help would greatly be appreciated. Trying to get the car back to perfect for this upcoming spring. Thanks in advance.

you might want to have the hood re-sprayed...little bit more $ but definitely a better result... afterwards get some clear bra.. call Raja ventureshield

I've heard good things about www.Drcolorchip.com. I'm planning to try it soon.

I have the Dr. Colorchip kit. Doesnt work too well on my montego blue. It is less visible then the black from chips that has hit the primer, but it does stand out at close point. I am looking around at detailers that does professional chip repairs. I really don't want to repaint my hood.

I have the dr.colorchip for jet black and like it a lot. I agree you can still see the chip dents if looking closely but think if you are patient enough you can layer it and with a few applications, fill these up.

In the past, a touch up specialist have quoted me $150 -$175 to repair 4 chips on my old car. You can get the whole hood repainted for $400- $500 ( correct me if I am off on this number). I would spend the $$ to get it re-sprayed if you have more than 6-8 large chips.

Yea, I'll definitely look around for some prices for all options and see which one is the wisest in the long run.

Russel Toyota is a BMW certified body shop (only one in Maryland).

They've done body work on my e90 330i multiple times and it looks fantastic.
Rear Ended (bumper replaced / painted)
Door repainted (jerk hit it in a parking lot, didn't even leave a note)
Passenger side skirt repainted

I'm also considering repainting my hood for the same reasons. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my car at this point. Color matches perfectly, clear coat is smooth.

I think I'm going to try to find a professional to help me buff the chips out after layers and layers of touch up paint. I don't have the tools or the experience to do it solo. This is my daily driver, it will get more chips as I put more miles on it. One day I may re paint the hood and bumper, but its not that bad yet.
