Bit of an update - changed the key. It came with two keys, both had been used with a fingernail on the buttons so had seen better days. Rather than buying a new key/second hand key to reprogram, or a second hand key off eBay to open up and put my internals in; I decided to risk the sub £10 key shells from China. I ordered this weeks ago but never got round to doing it. The BMW keys are glued together so once its open you're farked if it doesnt work.
Much better! Only complaint is that the BMW roundel button could do with some padding behind it as its a bit 'squashy' but if you're not looking for it you don't notice it. Also went for a drive with a friend and his gorgeous modified 350Z and thoroughly enjoyed it. Apart from the fact that his car is probably the best sounding vehicle I've ever encountered, I loved driving my 335D on some good roads. It handled great, it ate up the miles, and we covered almost 200 miles of cracking driving roads around Hawes, Kettlewell etc. Almost did the Buttertubs Pass but decided against it. Packed my brand new D7100 to take some photos and forgot to take the memory card and battery as well..... So these iPhone photos will have to suffice. Hence why the photos were taken in a car park and not somewhere more scenic. |

Really tempted to get some 19s, then I thought about lightweight wide 18s, and utilising my current rear tyres on the front, and wider rears (saving money), and then realised I'd probably be best sorting suspension first, then deciding to just get wheels, and going round and round in a circle, before entertaining LCI conversion fantasies! This is tiring!

Nice looking wheels, love the rear concave, those centre caps spoil them though, can you not just peel the carbon off to leave plain silver underneath?
