Carl anyone can hold an auto against the breaks and floor the throttle, no skill in that. the skill is in launching a powerful manual and getting everything to work well for a good time. Pod times are meaningless anyway the question is what would anyone prefer to own a deisel 3 series or an RS4...mmmmmmmmmm decsions

at the next meet ( if i evenyually get to another) lets find a nice road and see if you can keep up.

Even with the worst launches imaginable I`m running mid 12s Carl, difference is even with 2.4s 60 foots I`m still trapping 122.

Here, here. Test the cars on a circuit and the open road, not a straight line race (don't get me at it) - These aren't drag cars???

Er 3 series diesel for me NOT!

I bet I could get 1.5 tonnes in the back of my Sprinter van than Steve's RS4, then do a quicker 1/4 mile time.

Thats an evil looking RS4 Steve

There is nothing special about driving a car in a straight line! Put them both on the track to see who the Daddy is, and a remapped 335d aint gonna stand a chance against an RS4 round the track or even on round the twisty roads (obviously obeying the speed limits)

Agree with you. But just because he has an RS4 does NOT mean he automatically wins around a track (I'm aware you are not stating this).

It's the old argument of how good the drivers are. And I'm sure Steve couldn't give a s*** about racing his car anyway.

Every time!!! - it always happens, a thread gets started, and then its a comparison against a mapped 335D, down the drag strip - Who gives a flying f**k about the drag strip??? There is more to life than 1/4 mile times and 0-60 times etc - Trust me I know - now back on topic .

Like I've said Steve, lovely car, you will not be disappointed, and the power is fully usable come rain or shine

Oli gets mad like a lot of other people because carl is a stuck record.

i put a thread up about my new car and Carl drops a line about it not having the engine to match the looks, which is utter nonsense which i tell him, and it ends up a thread about pod times and how fast a 335d is. Which i am going to argue about as thats the type of person i am so today Ive been on a few rs websitse asking for 1/4 mile times the best stock 1/4 is 12.7 done at the pod in a 2007 car. the best time ive seen is a 12.4 in a car thats got a miltek inc downpipes and a remap. Still faster than a 335d. But in carlsworld (a little like wayneswolrd but a bit more essex) the facts dont matter.........

Just because carl THINKS they cant possibly be faster as hes beaten loads then thats obviously FACT. And as carl is the world authority on everything car then.....................................

However good the 335d is, and i know ive had one, its not in the same league as an M3 or an RS4.

The 335d is a one trick pony, straight line speed, nose heavy, shit sounding, repmobile. END OF.sorry if that offends anyone but its the truth.

sometimes i wish i hadnt started the fucking post

lets get things into perspective.

Can carl drive well, yes he can,

is he as good as he thinks, no. if he was hed be lewis bloody hamilton and its this very fact that makes carl dislike the 'CURRENT WORLD CHAMPION'...read jealous as fuck

has he been down the pod quite a few times, yes he has. is his 335d fast in a stright line yes. Will it beat MIKEs 600bhp m3? dont make me fucking laugh.

anyway i cant be arsed anymore

i should of just written

" Carl shut up you fucking bellend, go and buy yourself a proper car"

Mike M3 will be ballistically fast.... if he can lay the power down, he did a 13.5 rembemer with the old supserchartger set-up. (something wrong there?)

Stevie A, go and get your RS4 into the 12's, garuntee YOU wont do it.

Most RS4's are mid to low 13's in the UK.

You seen the vid of bens Golf GTI ripping one to shreds. with only 330HP..

Like i said i been in one and was underwhelmed..

Steve you love ripping into people, not a nice trait.. cheers.

For the love of god!!

Mike has trapped 122 FFS how much faster is that than you at what 108ish.

RS4s have done and do sub 13secs deal with it.

a golf vs an avant which are 100kgs heavier ON A ROLL, how does that relate to a 1/4 mile standing start..NUMPTY

Im only ripping into you because your an IDIOT who doesnt listen, to anyone EVER. who Wont accept when you are wrong ans alway dig a deeper hole for yourself

How many people on this thread have said carl is right? he never banngs the same drum......... none!!!! they are all making noises that you talk the same shit. please listen Carl as im sure you're alienating a lot of people.
