Garage List
This won't go well if i try and list all of them, but in short:
Nissan Micra 1.0
4 Citroen BX's
About 20 BMWs including a few V8 E34's, a few E30 325i's, a few E36's, a few E46's, 2 130i's and my current 330i
Porsche 993 C4S, 993 C2, 993 Turbo, and another 993 C2
3 TVR Chimaeras and a TVR Tuscan
And a few motorbikes (CBR4, CBR6, YZF6, CBR9, VFR8, CBF1000, CBR11, etc.)

Now have a 330i touring as a family wagon, 996 turbo company car, and a jetski for fun.

Between 1998 and 20013

-Citroen sx 1.4
-Pug 306 1.9 TD
-Mk4 Golf GT TDI 115
-Mk4 Golf GT TDI 150
-BMW E46 330d M sport Saloon
-BMW E46 330cd M Sport (best car I've owned!)
-CLS 55 AMG (lasted a month! too thirsty)
-Seat Ibiza Cupra TDI
-Mk5 Golf GTi
-BMW E90 330d M sport
-Pug 106 GTI
-Mk5 Golf GTI DSG

Currently trying to decide what to replace the GTI with later this year. The new A-Class is tempting - but I've been browsing for BMW 335d saloons!

Can't remember all the dates but it goes something like this.

VW Golf 1.8 GL -first car, drove it like I stole it and the 1.8GL engine while no GTI was quite nippy enough for me at 18)

Fiat Uno Turbo (with full Dimma kit)- Death Trap! Turned up the boost using a dodgy twiddle boost controller, 150bhp plus in a car which weighed and had as much structural strength as a f*g packet. Quick but really surprised I didn't kill myself in it as I was young and stupid.

Merc 190e 2.5. 16v Cosworth - OK technically this wasn't mine, it was my old man's but I got to use it more than him . Too much car for me at 20 years old tbh but boy was it fun. A match for the much lauded E30 M3 IMO. Just wished my old man had kept it, would have been worth a mint now.

BMW E36 M3 - My first proper grown up car, bought when I got my first decent paying job. Loved this car but got annoyed at people constantly nicking bits off it.

Subaru Impreza Sti Type R - Two door special edition Jap import of the fantastic Impreza. Modded with bigger turbo, straight through exhaust and a remap, this thing was rocketship fast up to 100+ and VERY LOUD. One of the cars I still miss.

Skyline R34 GT-R - Traded up from the Subaru for this. Not as quick to 60 as the Subaru but quicker everywhere else and the sound that RB26 made as it wound round to 8000rpm was sublime, who says turbo cars can't rev? Probably the best car I've owned in terms of driver enjoyment and the one I miss the most.

Mercedes CLK - This was owned during my "sensible period" when I decided I needed to stop acting like a boy racer. Competent, comfortable, never missed a beat and the ladies absolutely loved it but ultimately very boring compared to what I've had before.

BMW 335i E93 - Current car and my first convertible. Thought I had to do the cab thing before I got too old and ended up looking like those ridiculous grey haired pensioners you see trying to "relive their youth". Love the engine, the noise and the fact that I can put the roof down and enjoy open air motoring. Hate the ride quality (woeful) and the roof when it's up for the other 11 months of the year.

My List:
1 - Fiat Uno Turbo Mk1
2 - Fiat Uno Turbo MK1 (both great great cars - but unable to corner!)
3 - Nissan Bluebird (er... bought to replace stolen uno turbo)
4 - Peugeot 205 (didnt go up hill's - was a 1.0)
5 - Ford Escort (never let me down - got it back after it being stolen)
6 - Honda Civic 1.4 (my first ever new car - sold to buy flat)
7 - Ford Sierra Sapphire 1.8 (Full factory fitted RS Cosworth kit)
8 - Honda civic 1.6 sr coupe - bought this when i went to see it with a friend for him, he didnt want it... i bought it.
9 - Honda Integra - had this 3 1/2 yrs!
10 - Golf GTI - new one .. lasted 16 months
11 - Polo Diesel - lasted 7 months
12 - Mini Cooper S - lasted 8 months (i actually bought this after finding out wife was 3 months pregnant... clever eh!!)
13 - BMW 335d - lasted 6 months - wish i could have kept it longer but was doing mega mileage
14 - BMW 330d - lasted 18 months - remapped by DMS. Had 92k on the clock when i got it ... sold it with 124k - and a new gearbox!
15 - Toyota Prius - 3 months
16 - BMW 520d (F20) - lasted 5 months - and 11k miles - rubbish car.
17 - VW Corrado - scratched an itch!
18 - BMW 330 Clubsport
..
Last night went to pick up my little man from my folks - my mum looked at the CS and asked 'is that automatic' .... and the proceeded to ask me when i was planning to sell it as she wants to buy it!

Car 19 might come along sooner then i planned ... but plan is 911 next summer

love this, brings back some great memories......

A reg Mk1 Astra - rusty brown

D reg Mk2 Cavalier - red, shocking purchase.

F reg R5 GTT - grey, at 19, this was a sweet motor!

H reg Cavalier - 2.0 CDI spec, white, all the electrics. at 19, this was a cheaper, less flimsy, more reliable motor

P reg Calibra - 8v SE6 edition - not my best choice.

'52 Focus ST170 - company car which I bought off them. seriously underated car, got abused mile after mile and just ran sweet as..

'52 MK4 Golf V5 - sounded nice but.....

'53 MK4 Golf V6 - sounded nicer and went better....

R reg 306 gti-6 - perhaps my favourite car, but held together with blutak.

'54 Astra Cdti 150 - crap.

'05 E46 330 m-sport, silver - was such a lovely lovely car, split with Ex meant having to sell it.

'51 Clio - 1.1, blue, 3 door - cheap runaround thats memorable for 2 reasons: the first is the amount of foundation/makeup that it was covered in when I went to look at it, the second is the girl I bought it off was sooooo hot and gave the most amazing blowjobs.

'54 Volvo S60 D5, bright red - my mums old car, got 800 miles out of a tank of diesel one week going up and down the A1. best standard stereo ive had in a car.

'07 E92 325i m-sport - current car, has its quirks, but in 25k miles its not let me down and it still looks as good now as the day I bought it. need to sell it really, but we are so attached!

L reg 1.1 fiesta - first car and blew the engine up after leaving it with no oil
K reg 1.1 fiesta - something I found cheap after the first one popped
D reg 1.4 205 - told my dad to find me something quicker, funny to thrash around but smelt like old people
L reg 1.6 escort - not sure how I ended up with this, slow and boring
L reg 1.6 escort - quick find after breaking the first one, can't remember how I ended up with a 2nd one! Gearbox broke
H reg 1.0 micra - cheap find after breaking the escort, heater didn't work, freezing in winter
M reg 1.6 escort - face lift model from previous escorts and actually quite a nice car, boring though

All of the above were over the course of a couple years from being aged 17 but then started to pick things up a bit:

L reg 1.4 corsa Sri - nippy little thing
R reg 1.6 corsa sport - bit smoother and faster
L reg 1.3 106 rallye - old skool, really chuckable and big fun
S reg 1.6 106 rallye - classic again, really good fun and a car ill remember for a long time
51 reg 2.0 Clio 172 - fun to drive again but chewed driveshafts
53 reg 2.0 impreza WRX - felt like a big tin boat compared to clio, fun in the snow though
53 reg 1.8 Leon Cupra R - quality motor, good engine, looked smart, gutted to sell to buy house
02 reg 1.9 diesel Laguna - was a work horse and cost nothing to run/maintain
08 reg 3.0 335i - errr just a bit of a step up! best car by a million miles, only thing I'd change for is e92 m3

I can't remeber the year/s I had each car, especially for the older cars.

and here was me thinking you'd like to read about other users cars, rather than just "gassing" on about your own cars and general talk about yourself

Apologies....an age thing, and maybe too much time on PH.

So, about this SLS....must surely be for sale soon.... maybe a Cali next.

I'm but a sprog, so less of a list than some of you!

- 2003 Peugeot 206 1.1 "s".
Bought at age 19, in 2006.

- 2006 E90 BMW 320D M-Sport
Bought at age 22, in 2009

-2003 Nissan 350z GT 286
Bought at age 25, in late 2011

-2012 E92 BMW 335D M Sport
Bought at age 26, Jan 2012

All of my cars bought 100% with my own money, never had a family contribution for tax or insurance. Worked to get them! Which separates me from some but not all of those my age

I don't change cars THAT often. I grow irrationally attached to them. But on top of that, the 'modding bug' makes them that much harder to sell, both from a rational "I've put X into that" and physical "average punter doesn't like mod Y" perspective
