My supercharger on my Acura (which is a Honda) cost $4500 + $1000 Tune. Then you needed full bolt ons which put you easily at another $1500-2000 more in cost.
Combine the injectors and other odds and ends an you were looking at another $1000 MISC. I always say, Cheap, Fast, Reliable, you can only pick 2. |

you overpaid.
The CARB approved versions of the Jackson Racing Supercharger with JR tuning card are under $3k. That gets you a street legal tuned setup, ready to go. Other SC systems (non CA emmissions legal) with reflash for the Civic Si start at $3095. With a hondata tuned ecu, it's $3,400. Modded Acura RDX turbo injectors (410c-550cc @ 70psi) are less than $200. Any other bolt ons you get can be used with or without the SC. While they will help with power, they are not required for the SC to work. Besides, I've seen K series stainless steel headers for less than $400 (not ebay headers either). FACT: BMW shit is just expensive. |

To be honest, I have a German bias too, but things like these from Taiwan do not scare me --only toys do. For all of you who are complaining about the price, you have to understand that this is pretty much the first commercial supercharger for the 32X/330, so of course it will be expensive. I can play the waiting game and wait for prices to hit a more realistic $5.5K installed. Anyone who is thinking $3K must be having a laugh! |

Hi guys, sorry for the delay. after much work from my workshop, R2D and ARMA, we have completed this project after driving for about a week, it feels very reliable and of course, FAST.
like what ****** mentioned, the sound of the SC never failed to make my hair stand and put a wide grin to my face. After 3000RPM, it pulls crazily to the redline. here are some photos of the supercharger on my E89. |

Nope i'm not. I'm using their headers, and straight through exhaust.. pulls great. But damn bloody loud. I'm thinking of installing a bigger rear muffler to absorb more drone.
Anyway, if u heard that ARMA is pushy with their products, it's not that true. they did not push me to buy the exhaust at all.. |

Ok yes i have emailed Arma and it looks like everything they have is install and play for 7600 dollars which isnt to bad being nobody else wants to attempt what they did. I have went to many BMW mechanics and performance shops around the Tampa and Orlando area and some people say they can do and want 14,000 dollars and some people say it cant be done because of the tune. Well here it is they did so F*** everybody else just get it and quit complaining i will be ordering it soon. Again as said earlier in the forum we did not buy BMWs to have a cheap car and if you did good luck.
