My question is this: how easy will it be for a paint shop to match the new OEM Aero lip to my car? My car is Titanium Silver, and it's six years old.
My concern is that a freshly painted lip will look really obvious against the rest of the front of the car (although the car's paintwork is is very good condition). Anyone have experience of this? Mike. |

The other thing is the front spoiler doesn't sit flush it has contrasting lines so the colour match isn't as critical....
I think and I may well be corrected with someone who is more knowledgeable!! |

It's BUMP down in Poole near Tower Park.
They specialise in car park nick's etc. But they are good at what they do and like I said the colour matching is great. http://www.bumprepairs.com/ |

I got my one from SSD. It's a replica but made from proper plastic like the OEM one so pretty good quality. I got it painted by a local paint shop and just fitted it myself as it's very easy to do.
M style offer two types, the cheaper one is GRP (not good) and the more expensive on is plastic. To be honest their price for an OEM fitted+painted is pretty good, oh and unless they are complete amateurs, you shouldn't have any problems with colour match etc as it's not a main body panel. |

Guv: What is the fit like? Could you post up some pics please?
I had a feeling SSDD's replica was GRP / Fibreglass etc but good to know its plastic... may opt this route but wanna make sure the fitment is near enough perfect or very very close to OEM! |

But Sam you're right £238 + £25 delivery + £95 paint means the rep has to be a decent enough saving. Let's see what Teddy can do! |

So I've heard from Teddy and he only has a couple in stock, if theres enough interest I'll go back with numbers.
The spoiler will be unpainted and is made of polypropylene which is the same as the original bumper.... |

Hey Greg, great work on speaking with Teddy
I don't know my Chemistry table (should really have paid more attention now) but are you certain this PPP is the same as OEM or has similar characteristics to OEM ones? I really do not want no GRP crap lolll |

I'm interested. Ideally would like it painted.
