I will not post a link because I am not going to spam for another site, but VIP will be posting a time slip with this record soon. Information is already on the "other" site.
 Edit: Race gas tune, MS109, 456 WHP, locked differential, stall converter, VIP CAI, VIP catless DP's, VIP Charge pipes, Micky thompson drags..... Edit (again): VIP catch can, and external oil cooler as well.... Last edited by e90AW335i; 01-15-2008 at 08:46 PM.. |

Yep...he's got himself a nice drag car there.
 Next on the list for Vip's car...a blower, NOS, a full roll cage, and a parachute.  However, in all seriousness, with those 1/4 mi. times, I think he's required to have the roll cage and parachute.

BTW, what's funny is someone over at the "other" site said, "wow close to Enzo times now". LOL
WAY off Enzo times still. Enzo's trapped at 130+ mph It is in stock C6 ZO6 territory ET wise, but still about 4-6 mph slow on the trap speeds. I'd love to see and inside the cockpit video of this car doing a run like that. Wonder how well the 335i drivetrain is going to hold up to full drag slick launches?? |

Hmm.... that's close to stock W211 E55 territory. Good job for boosting this 6 banger up to the level of a supercharged 8-banger

I'm sorry to be the hater here but I don't believe they did 11.2 with those mods.
I could see 11.2 with bigger turbos, but not with the stock ones.
