BSW ipod solution E90 HiFi?

So, I'm thinking of getting an ipod adaptor/dock for my E90 Hifi (Non navigation) vehicle. So far I have only seen the BSW option which seems to fit nicely in the ash tray, are there any other solutions like these? or is this the best one out there?, i am looking for an easy plug an play solution in which I can connect my ipod and control it with my steering wheel buttons... also, hos does this dock connect to my system?, and will it still work if I upgraded amps in my vehicle? Thanks

FYI

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=201607
This adds through the AUX input which is analog

I have heard the sound quality isn't as good through this input
and it offers no display on the stock radio for song selection

I believe BSW sells the DICE module

Any digital solution will require having the car reprogrammed to enable the
cd changer unless its already there(because it uses this input for ipod sound and control)

oh, what about the OEM options, do any of these work well? and are they a cradle for the ashtray or a cradle for the center console?, any pictures you can share on this option...

It is the OEM iPod solution, the only difference is the Spec dock.

You have the option of the BMW iPod kit or mObridge. We recommend the mObridge kits due to the faster browsing speed and USB charging requirements required by current iPod/iPhone models.
