Expensive Day!
Got quoted £375 or £285 for the work some ****** did to my car, depending on if I have the rear valance completely restored and resprayed or not.
As I'm driving along clutch feels very strange, keep having to pull it up with foot, in all the cars I've owned I've never experienced any clutch problems so was a bit confused, has been fine before so take it to garage, obviously something a miss, master cylinder has gone! Sourced a window relay too so will soon have the windows running from one switch not two Poor little Pixie not to mention last owner had not been topping up the oil, or I at least hope the last owner was just a numpty who couldn't be bothered to top up oil and the car is not using 1ltr per week This day has got quite expensive!

Leave little Pixie alone!
She can't help it if someone ran into her. As for clutch these things happen, oh well and seems the previous owner was just a total numpty where oil is concerned, rang him up to ask on oil consumption and when he last topped it up, hadn't got the foggiest just it was "below the line rather than above" MX5 was running absolutely fine when I sold it, I wouldn't sell anyone junk, nor is the '44 that is far from being "junk", thankyou very much at least it has character. M3 - you got some sort of secret to share that you like watching 944s on eBay, or stalking me

Nicola, I think you need your own sticky for your car antics rather than have a dozen on the go at any one time.
I think it needs a good name like all other soaps which capture what its all about eg Eastenders, Coronation Street, The Bill, Casualty all do what they say on the tin. So who wants to forward suggetions of Porshas! new sticky....... Wrecks to Riches.... ok not appropriate ..... Wrecks to Rust The Price is Right .... for a motor in need of TLC Antiques in your Bedroom ...... sorry Garage |

I don't make a habit of doing either so dont flatter yourself! You posted an 'internet pic' of the 944's 'advert' but then said you bought it in an auction - not rocket science to see it came from ebay! Just search for 944's in 'completed listings' and up comes "pixie" finished in Kalahari Beige
