I got the V1's for $1,250 shipped. The install plus alignment was around $500.

Here's the best picture I could get. This is the front driver side. These tires are 22/40/18 on a 8.5" wheel.

I just ordered the KW V1. The reason is simple; be able to adjust height and comfortable ride. How is the comfort ride with the run flat tires?

I still think they're great. If I was going to do it all over I'd buy them again. They've greatly improved the handling, they're comfortable and of course they've eliminated the wheel gap. For a week I was driving 150 miles per day and they were great to drive on. I've heard that if you really slam it some of the comfort goes away, but at the height I have them they're great.

No, I didn't. However, I am intrigued by Pits' post about endlinks: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=794197

No one has to change their endlinks if they lower their cars, it will work fine. But being that most of us are dropping our cars more than the i guys, it might be important to revisit the situation of endlink replacement since it more than likely is causing a lot of load on the front sway, the rear not as much.

UltraRacer and myself aren't good examples of finding the right length since we adjust our endlink collars.

Here is what kind of database is needed for the xi's to get a general idea of what length endlinks are needed.

1.) What brand coilover/strut (Since some might have different height endlink mounting points)

2.) How much you drop your car (Easiest measurement is from wheel center to wheel well. i.e 13.5inches)

3.) Length of endlink needed for no preload.

Example (These aren't real)

Brand: TC Klines
Drop: 14 inches center hub to wheel well
Endlink: 12 inch Endlink

Brand: KWV1
Drop: 12 inches center hub to wheel well
Endlink: 13.5 inch Endlink

I got them from VR Speed Factory. At the time they were running a special. You would have to contact Tiago@VRSF to see if he is still offering that price.

I was wondering if the ST coilovers is any different than the KW V1 coilovers in terms of dampening and ride quality? I've heard ST coilovers are made by KW V1. Only difference I've read about so far is the KW are stainless and won't rust like the ST.
