Do you like going to the dealership?
Do you like going to the dealership? Or do you try to avoid that place?

I am very impressed with mine. They were curteous, accomodating, and very professional. (I just had both turbo's replaced... no issues, and they actually diagnosed the issue, instead of just replacing parts.)

I enjoy using the coffee machine that apparently costs more to maintain than a BMW lol

I like my dealership but they will never see me again after the warranty is up.

Experienced my first dealer service yesterday, and although they were very friendly and attempted to treat me well, my car is still there after being told it would take 1.5 hours. I was told there were no loaner cars even though I requested one when I made the appointment. After waiting around for 3 hours I was told I would get one. After another 30 minutes of waiting there were 3 loaner cars sitting outside, and an enterprise guys pulls up with a toyota for me to drive. WTF? (Luckily I did not get fired for taking a 4 hour "lunch" break) I was then told my car would be done by the end of the day. I called around 6pm last night and was told it would be done by this morning because they had to order a new seatbelt assembly. Its 1:18 PM and I still haven't gotten a call. |

Shieldze, my dealer is the same way. They treat me very nice and do a great job, but they always take a long time. Try and get used to it, have patience, and enjoy putting miles on a loaner, not your car.
And I guess going forward, when you make an appointment, mention that the last time you scheduled a loaner you didn't get it, and you can't afford to spend so much time at the dealer. They should pay special attention to that need. |

Yup, BMW of Fairfax. I heard good things and honestly I was treated very well, I'm just pretty upset at missing 4 hours of work (of course, I'm busy as hell this week) and the fact that I still haven't heard from them.

I go to Fairfax also, service is good, but they do take a long time...i think its because they're always PACKED. Im sure half the people that drive up dont have any appointments. My SA is a cool dude...so ive never had any problems with loaner cars even when other people have been waiting for an hour or so.

I don't mind going to mine, they were nice and professional but I try not to go... it just spends time, even if you get a loaner. Although when the car needs it, it needs it.

My dealer is pretty good when I really need them but I don't use them for anything I can do myself like oil changes because they charge 60 bucks in a bogus data fee to reset the oil life monitor.

It depends, I do not let then wash my car because they scratch it, I asked them to fix many of my rattles and not one was fixed. But I do feel happy when they get things done correctly.
