Arrow Eisenmann Meisterschaft and DP's ...

I am planing to get Eisenmann Meisterschaft for my upcoming 335i and want to make sure that if i'll get DP's some time later it will not be too loud. I like the way Eisenmann Meisterschaft sounds and not sure if it will be a good combo. In the first place Meisterschaft is not very quite and i am afraid that it will be way too much for my taste with DP's. What do you guys think?

Can't comment on sound, but let me know if you are interested in purchasing an Eisenmann exhaust for your car, and I can hook you up with a set.

Just let me know when you are ready.

thanks.

I'm sure it will be louder than just Meistercraft only, esp. if you go with catless DPs.

With stock exhaust, what is the sound difference between adding catted DPs and catless DPs?

WalkedYou would probably be able to answer this question better than me. With cats should be more quiet but he would be able to elaborate.

Catless downpipes makes the car sound raspy like an M3 between 2500-3000 rpm its loud and raspy... I wouldnt recommend it if the car is your daily... I personally love it but i also dont drive it everyday...

I am sure it will be ... the question is how much louder ... i like Meistercraft a lot and so far considering only this brand. Vishnu is number 2 on my list. Somebody told me that it's not too loud, so maybe with dp's it will be about right ...

Does anybody in BA ( San Francisco ) have Meistercraft or Vishnu installed on their car ? I just want to hear it first , before i'll spend $$$

if you get catless DPs and a meistershaft, you might not like it. If you aren't into loud, than I wouldn't. On higher RPMs think hear for sure. BORLA with DPs aren't going to be as loud.

I'd definitely stick with catted DPs. Eisenmann should be loud enough on its own. As a bonus, you wouldn't be polluting the environment more

It is too early to say what it is going to be. Very few people actually have Meisterschaft exhaust and none of them have downpipes. I also get the feeling that some are mixing up Race and Meisterschaft versions.

My current dilemma as well. I guess I'll go with just the mufflers for now and see if it is loud enough. I also think that DP with cats will sound less obnoxious compared to straight DP

Ryan told me that the best will be to get Sport and not Meistercraft with DP's. He told me that it will be perfect set up and not to loud ... I'll post any updated info later, since I had couple more questions for him ...

As I understand they have 3 options :
1. Sport system - not very loud
2. Race system - very loud
3. Meistercraft system - loud

so, Sport + DP's should be about right ... corect me if i am wrong ...

Another thing to consider is whether or not you are going to get midpipes for the car (eisenmann calls them SR pipes) since they will also louden up the exhaust a little more when they replace the secondary cats. If you are looking to free up more back pressure with downpipes and mufflers then I couldn't see leaving them stock.

i agree with you ... it would be awesome to put sr pipes as well, but then it will go from mid loud to very loud system ... and i'm not looking for that ...
