Help: Angel eye rings...
Hey guys! I recently purchased Angel Eye LED Markers for my car.
One of the rings is bright whereas the other one is barely visible....Does anyone know how to get them equally bright? Here's a picture: Thanks guys! Your help would be appreciated! |

This is normal. And unfortunately the E92 suffers from this also.

You could always get OSS angel eyes! A bit pricey but definitely worth it.

<----------- look at my avatar.
I had the same problem as you did with the outer rings not being bright enough until I started playing around with they way they lock into place. I realized they weren't locked in all the way for the LED's to be pointing in the right direction. By locking it fully in place will point the LED's in the correct direction will give you better results. |

understand that, even when they're locked in place, during the daytime in direct sunlight, the outer ring will be very dim--its a flaw of the fiber optic tubes that pipe light to the outer rings.
like another poster has stated, you will want full LED rings like OSS, ONEighty, or BavX LS3. you can optionally also order the Umnitza rings (used by OSS) and install them yourself--but if you have never split a headlight or worked with electronics or changed a headlight bulb, you should leave this up to the pros. everyone needs to start somewhere, but that somewhere shouldn't be on your thousand dollar BMW headlights! |
