spotted a bmw

grayish 3 series with a spoiler driving on Calvine and pulling into a residential street on the 99 side of the railroad tracks near Vintage Park. Had a pretty nice looking set of angel eyes and I'm wondering what the owner had installed on there.

I rarely see any custom E9x's around Sacramento.

I saw a Metallic Blue 335i E92 on Howe they other day (she took a right onto Fair Oaks), to what appeared to be one hot chic driving it (chics in BMW's are hot to begin with). So i left it in 1st, spun the tires for a split sec, i don't think she was impressed.

I also came across a stock black E93 335i top down the other day after work on Howe @ American River Drive. I revved up my motor so they could hear to BOV (Hehe) They looked over and looked back as if i was just an immature kid with a modded BMW. I swear, BMW drivers are some stuck up peeps.

it really depends on what's you goal. if you want high HP and wanna be a straight line king, then go JB4, you can have meth/e85 and you will be having a fast car. i wasn't the guy who like high HP and just wanna have more power than stock and do better cornering, at the end i sold my JB4 and went with cobb.

both are good but i think mainly all the folks in sac are running cobb now, as far as i know we have at least 4-5 sac'ers including me running cobb with PTF custom tune.

COBB is better, no JB4 is better, No DINAN is better because its under warranty, no proceed is better..

in the end you will go with what works best for you. As Eric said, what are your objectives?

what I can say is my reasons for COBB.

- I love the fact that they were conservative with their tune and not just a boost increase
- The install and uninstall function is seamless
- great support
- had great tuning for 91 Octane, and love the fact of S1+ FMIC (not have to worry about DP's for the next level)
- and the ability to do Pro Tune PTF Rocks!

Wait DMV says 6 or less years no smog cert, but a smog fee. So does this mean I am good for another year?

Dang, it says 6 registration years, thus 2007 counts as year 1, 2007 - 2012 is 6 registration years.

Crap I missed a good deal. Some Sac guy on Bimmerfest just sold his Cobb off his 5er for $500 local pickup.

And I'm trying to keep it as undetectable as possible. My car is an '09 with warranty ending next month, but it does have an additional 2 year CPO.

Regardless of how undetectable it is you should still uninstall it before going to the dealer for any visit.

Other deal fell through so guess I'm getting the Cobb. And yea I will be uninstalling it. Just Cobb is much easier to do so than JB4.
