Waxing too early really bad???

Ive heard that if u wax ur car too early ur paint will mess up or something. i have had my car for about a month or so and i have zaino kit but people tell me that waxin it now will harm my paint. Is it TRUE? please help

I heard it's bad if you just got a fresh new paint job (cure tme needed).

But as far as our BMWs....wax and wash is fine as long as it's meticulously done, especially on a dark paint.

FYI, I washed and waxed my car within one week of taking delivery, and I think I did a good job, no swirls yet on my sparkling graphite.

That's only true if your car gets REPAINTED. BMW paint is cured in heat ovens at the factory. You can Zaino the day of your delivery if you want.

Even though the car is new, you might want to hit the paint with a clay bar before you wax. I clayed mine right after delivery and was amazed at the amount of "stuff" the clay bar pulled off the paint.
