This any of you guys? Anyone know why hes selling for so cheap? If I ask for a test drive what should I look for? Can I tell if there has been any computer mods etc?

Eh. . . sounds like a great deal.
You need to check out the condition. Realize it isn't under warrenty anymore. Maybe you can somehow talk your way into getting it CPO'd. . . Run a CarFax |

I like you dumbing it down further for me! that was funny lol. So would I just take it to like a bmw dealership and pay them 1500 or so for an extended warranty? Thanks for the input!

technically that car is 2 years old... and 50k isnt too many miles... What i can tell you is that there is NO WAY you will be able to get the car CPO'd. You can probably buy some sort of extended warranty but you will not get one through BMW. Not a bad car to pickup as long as all checks out...

i appreciate the input for sure!
miles is a concern for me on resale value, but i figured in a year (i usually only have a car for less than a year since im never happy enough) when i sell it even if i put 15k miles on it maybe it would sell around 20k or so. what major problems are around the corner for the 335i? does anyone know anybody who has a lot of miles on theirs? what problems did they hit? this particular car is cheap enough for me to pick up and try and sell my other car in the next two months or so while keeping both loans. anyone have a hook up for carfax? again, thanks for your help |

The obvious issue is the HPFP.
And I would PM this guy: http://www.e90post.com/forums/member.php?u=32026 I remember that he was kind enough to check a VIN for a fellow E90 member not too long ago. I don't see why he wouldn't check one for you |

If it is the same car........ He has been trying to sell it for a while. When he 1st posted pics it had German plates (not Euro Delivery though) and it was mentioned in his ad that he brought the car over from Germany . So most likely it is has been bought through military sales.....
Anyway, I don't think I would buy a BMW especially a 335 once it is out of warranty. But his asking price is decent.

what is HPFP?
i figured the owner would be on this forum since he has custom plates, but guess not. i msg him a few days ago and he said he would take 20k for it so in my opinion he would be pretty motivated. being bought through military sales, is that bad or good? thanks again everyone. |
