INPA's IBS menus contain info that tells you both the current coding and registration history.

Someone told me this as I tried coding my 08 M3 and while performing the initial airbag test I couldn't get it to work and another member said to just skip it since INPA doesn't work with newer models? |

You can skip the airbag error message as many also get this error. The newer cars INPA cannot register the battery. Tool32 can if u use the same OEM battery. If you change to aftermarket battery then you would need to use NCSexpert and then tool32. Do a search there is a PDF on this.
