DIY Install M3 ducts on 335i

This DIY is for those peeps who have a M3 rep front bumper fitted to their 335i

The ducts that come with the M3 front bumper, do not extend all the way across the opening creating an unsightly ledge (see pics below)

I decided to replace the rep ducts with genuine M3 ducts that both look better but actual are functional as well, diverting air onto the oil cooler(s) on the driver and passenger side.

Not to hard to do, just a little trimming etc to get them to fit properly.
Hardest part is attaching them to the bumpers, I used a combination of glue and screws. 12 months on no problems...

OP, wonderful DIY. I'm new to the whole M3 replica going onto a 335i. In my case, I have a 335D Msport. I was reading a really old thread saying the M3 replica wouldn't work on the msport or regular sport because the fender well liners were different than a standard 335i. With that said, is yours a standard or sport or msport? Thanks for your help. If your car was standard, I'm guessing I would need a set of standard liners then?

My car is standard but the msport lines are the same afaik
Just different bumper, side skirts etc
If you are replacing then with M3 replica bits, it should not matter if the car is standard or Msport

Thanks, I got the passenger side duct from FCP Euro. Hoping to install it sometime soon. The duct that came with the bumper points at maybe 2 sq.in. at the bottom inside corner of the oil cooler. Pretty useless if you ask me.
