Installed my mp3 player on the dash
I was looking for a cheap non-permanent solution since my car is a lease. After about 1 day of research and looking at various products, I decided to build my own bracket for the mp3 player. The metal and the wires from Home Depot probably cost around $15 total. Sound quality is great. Here are some pics below. Let me know what you guys think.
How the wires connect inside the center console. The console closes perfectly. |

I like it. I'd be curious how you fashioned your mount if you don't mind explaining. Going to Home Depot and putting together something yourself is a great solution.

It is a piece of metal I found that is a bracket for something else. I bent it to the angle with a hammer and it fits on the space between the dash and the rubber wall tight enough to hold the player. I will post more pics tomorrow. The wires, I passed under the center dash, which I learned how to open here somewhere.

Cheap, fast, simple. Most excellent mod, and looks good too! Way to go.
