Hey guys was wondering if you could help me out. So in a few weeks i'm going to sell my current summer wheels and get ready to get new ones. I decided on the Avant Garde M590's and i'm going to do their Bespoke program. This means I get to have 1 of 1 wheels made in the exact sizing I want and finish. I'm thinking about going with a brushed tinted clear type of finish.

Anyways I was wondering for a E90 LCI what is the perfect size wheels and tires? Keep in mind i'm an LCI so the tires need to be within a 1% difference. I'm currently running 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 and would love to go bigger if it will fit with minimal rubbing. Front fenders are rolled, however, my rears are not. As you can see in the pictures below my front sits relatively flush right now but rear not so much. The front has a 12.5mm spacer and the wheel sizes are 19x8.5 ET35 and 19x9.5 ET35.

Edit: If anyone needs anymore info or pics let me know and i'll try to get it to you asap. As these will be custom wheels I would really like them to fit pretty perfect. My ideal setup is as wide and flush as possible with no rubbing and no stretch on tires.

Edit 2: Here are some pics I quickly grabbed. As you can see it's relatively flush but maybe not perfect? I was surprised it actually looks more flush now than it usually does. Anyways those are with 12.5mm spacers up front

Smitty, are you looking for offsets for "stance" or offsets for the purpose of maximizing the rubber you can squeeze on without rubbing?

Both sort of. I like wheels that look aggressive but clean. In terms of stance I do want it relatively flush to the fenders, however, i'm not looking to have stretched tires or anything like that. I don't need the max rubber possible cause I don't want to rub. Just looking for maybe a bit wider tires and then wheels sitting pretty flush with the fenders without the need for spacers.

The size you have looks perfect already. If you want a close fitment, maybe you can consider getting sports tires with square sidewalls. In that case 265/30/19 @ ET35 on the rear will be really close to the fender and might rub with certain tires.

Well I am planning on getting michelin PSS which are more square from what i've read. My fronts are close to perfect but that's cause i'm running 12.5mm spacers. My rears are not very flush. Tomorrow i'll go out and grab some pics

Hey bud my front and rears are both rolled and I'm on stock m sport suspension. I'm running 19x9 et 35 with a 245/35r19 front and 19x10 et38 with a 275/30r19 rear I'm pretty close to flush but I do have room for a spacer or maybe I jump to a 285 rear. The fitment is pretty good I do rub on big dips but it's rubbing the fender liner. And backing up and full lock to left. Message me if you would like some pictures. I love the car.

With xi I think it really has to be below 1% although idk if exactly 1% is fine I know my current setup 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 is what a ton of xi guys run

I wouldn't worry about it too much, but you could also use 235/35/19 and 275/30/19. Or 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 like you have now. Michelin PSS is a wide tire anyways.

Oh yea that is true I can drop down to a 235. Wouldn't that look stretched on a 9" wheel though? I'm not a big fan of the stretched look... It does worry me because I don't want vibrations while I drive or my transfer case giving out but I would also love to jump up to a 275 in the back

I don't think you'd have any problems with 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 it's right on the limit and it has been done on an xi before.

I don't think you'd have much stretch with 235/35/19 and 265/35/19 since pss is a wide tire.

Ok so i'm thinking about doing the 235/275 combo with 19x9 up front and 19x10 in the back and rolling the rear fenders. Anyone got pics or thoughts on the offsets @bmw325i suggested

Actually what does everyone think about the following:
235/35/19 19x9 ET 28
275/30/19 19x10 ET 35

Should I lower the offset in the back or change anything? I came up with those sizes and offsets using the calculator at the top of the page. Basically rears will be 6mm more extended than what I have now and fronts will be 13mm more extended than my fronts with no spacers.

It can work but you might need to roll the rears a little anyways. It might fit without a roll, but IMO if your going to have custom wheels made might as well roll the rear fenders and go a little more aggressive especially since you already had the front done.

Do those offsets seem correct though judging by the pics of my car? I would be willing to go a bit more aggressive on the rears and roll the fenders but I would hate to rub even after rolling the fenders. What do you think about ET30?

Edit: According to the calculator at the top ET30 would make the wheel extend 11mm more than it currently does. If that is the case wouldn't it stick out too far? I'll try to measure how much space I have tomorrow morning but I feel like 11 would be past the fenders

Edit 2: Wait because i'm a LCI doesn't that mean I have 8mm less clearance in the back?

Yes it does my rear et 38 is like running an et 30 on a pre lci I'll get you pics soon

Ok thanks. In your original post you said you do rub on big dips; are you talking about the front or rear?

Ok I figured it would be best to post down what i've established thus far:

I definitely want michelin PSS tires even though they are wider and square. I would like to run 275's in the back but it is not a necessity. Don't really care what size I run in the front though it will most likely be 235 to keep the difference below 1%. I am willing to roll my rear fenders but do not want to rub after that with the car at the height it is in the picture.

What would be my best bet given that info? Maybe stick to current tire sizes with PSS since they are wider then just mess with offsets. I have to check if I can even get the wheels in 9" or 10" as I think it may only be 8.5/9.5

Im running 19x10 et25 265 in the rear on my LCI XI e90, it rubs even with rolled fenders, perhaps with a slightly stiffer suspension (running H&R coilovers) it wouldn't be as bad. But I think et30 might be your best bet for a worry free experience.
