Performance Center Delivery timing questions?

Hi All - I've supposedly setup a PCD, but am getting a little concerned as I haven't heard anything from the PCD and my car is on the boat already headed to the US.

For those of you who have done the PCD, what was the timing/schedule when you got the letter from the PC with your delivery date?? From the doc that I have, it seems like they should have contacted me right after the car went into production....?

Can those with PCD experience shed some light?

Thanks!

Don't worry. Your dealer should be contacting you telling you dates they have available. After they confirm the date with you a letter will be sent out to you with your delivery date and a welcome letter. My car was out to sea for a couple of days before i heard anything. If I was you I would call my sales associate and see whats the status. (thats what i did.. lol) Make sure they filed it right and your geting PCD.

Mystic330: Definitely call your CA, he should have faxed the PC by now and should have some dates for you to ponder. In the meanwhile, you can check with the 1-800# to see if your car is designated Priority-9 (PCD). PC communications should start to tickle in soon after the car is underway as they now have an estimate date of arrival to plan/schedule with. You can schedule PCD within or at least 2 weeks from the time your car arrives at Charleston.

Thanks guys - I have been getting nothing out of my dealer - So I called the scheduling woman at the PC directly (the nicest person in the world!).
She said my car IS set to priority 9 and they have it on the list, but they've been swamped and are playing catchup with scheduling deliveries. I should have a date sometime next week.

BTW: She also confirmed that the PC NEVER drills holes in the front bumper to install front license plates - That is our own responsibility.
