Best Superhero Movie?

What's your favorite superhero movie to date, and what are you most looking forward too?

My favorite is...
The Incredible Hulk featuring Edward Norton, and Liv Tyler.

And most looking forward to...
The Avengers

To me, nothing has yet topped "Superman: The Movie" with Christopher Reeves and Gene Hackman. Currently the films are all about the effects, and tend to lag when there's no action, but for that film the writing is strong enough to keep you interested when there's no sign of Superman for the first hour and a half or so, iirc. Reeves is very funny as Kent, Lex Luthor and Co are great to watch, and there are just tons of great lines throughout. ("Whoever gets this story will have the most important interview since... since God talked to Moses!")

Iron Man is very entertaining, I saw it twice in theaters and I bought it the day it came out on video. It's not as well-written as the first Superman movie, and has a couple of clunker scenes for me. I feel the same way about the first Tobey Maguire Spider-Man. Spidey 2 was stronger, though.

i had tickets to see it on imax, but i couldn't go. consequently, it was sold out on imax for the next 4 weeks after that. then i had lost interest at that point. i can't wait to get it on blu-ray though.

Iron Man is the best Superhero movie imo. Dark Knight was great but not as entertaining at Iron Man.

Looking forward to Watchmen and X-Men Origins: Wolverine

The Dark Knight.
I think the cast did a fantastic job with their characters. All of them.

I look forward to the last of Nolan's Batman trilogy.
