Opinions Needed: Matte Black
Hey guys,
328i Finally delivered. I originally didn't like the color but is slowly growing on me and I like it more and more as time progresses. Question is, would you Vinyl Wrap your car? Picture related. Just how my car looks. |

I would be I fear I would get sick of it pretty quickly because I love that gloss after a good wash and wax

I painted my previous bimmer matte black and it was a nightmare. I used to detail cars when I was younger, but I still hated it. Waters spots and bird crap would ruin a paint job. I would only wrap it if your car was fully modded with a bitchen body kit, otherwise your gonna look like a fool. I see kids driving around with their BMW's matted out and say to myself " what the fu** was I thinking. Not a big fan of the color you have, but some black or gun metal rims would make it look alot better and a drop of course. Black your windows out, grill, etc. Some linea corse LC818 would do the trick 8.5 / 10.0. These are just the opinions of weddo from S.D!

Unless you want to black out your trim, you are better off saving your money and enjoying your ride...for now...maybe get a lip for later to make it more aggressive, but keep the grilles and wheels the same color. It really looks sharp to me.

I agree with the posts above. Dont ruin the elegance of your car with matte black. Sometimes not even the cars with heavy mods pull off the look.
I am sure you have seen forum member Hooy's ride. Same color as yours and looks beautiful. If you have'nt, heres the link to his photos. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=685085 Aero lip, coilover's, decent rims, and a m3 spoiler are very nice mods that will make you appreciate your color more. If you still wish to wrap your car, I suggest you take a look at a local shop called Wrap Werks Miami. They do a great jobs at any thing you need vinyl wrapped. BTW congrats on your new car

Agreed with above and especially on a bone stock model. When it's done it can look amazing but get it wrong and it can look wacked. I'd only consider it if I was a step or two shy of a track-day car
