Harmonic balancer/crank pully 2011 BMW 335 x drive

I noticed it had an annoying squeak than I. Noticed it was the balancers rubber bearing going out was shaking on cold starts for about 30 minutes than it sorta fixed it self driving was looking at new pulleys and noticed the 328i pully has the same amount of bolt holes and is 200 cheaper will that fit on my bimmer and also found a daco pully claming it will work on a 335 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dayco-PB179...gAAOSweWtccfCv

I'd go with a BMW original part for the N54. Harmonic balancers are very important to crankshaft health. Balancers counteract the minute pluses from piston acceleration forces that travel through the connecting rod into the crankshaft. If not counter-acted, the forces can eventually fatigue the crankshaft with microscopic cracks in the crankshaft metal. The N52 has different forces in it than the N54, which is why the balancer is a different part number. Aftermarket part... who knows what that would be built to.

My 2 cents.

You sure it is not the shaft seal behind that pulley. I've heard of that giving the symptoms you are having on the 2011 N55. In fact my BMW Dealership wanted to replace that instead of the pulley wheel.

They might be just trying to milk you for money it's very common for the harmonic balancer to go out it's just a rubber bearing if it was the seal it could be leaking and giving alot more problems. There are a ton of 335d with this problem.
