Might be switching to summer tires, stealth pot hole added a nice bend to one of my winter rims yesterday. Still holds air, but it looks unsightly. Anyone have a good shop in the area to repair?

I have 3 sets of tires b/c of the gas mileage difference vs performance and the long commutes that I have. With putting 35,000 miles/yr on my car, I could use all of the fuel help that I can get. I went ahead and took my snow tires off(Blizzaks) and put my spring/fall tires (Continental DWS's) on about a week ago and have my Summer tires(Michelin A/S 3's) queued up for when the weather is regularly above 50 degrees.

Just curious, why not run actual summer tires in the summer?

lol, in hindsight, that would be the best answer. I was running all season michelins with no prolems, then had them do a warranty replacement and got the A/S 3's 75% off. Then I came to find out that they were 3 season tires and terrible in the snow. I found a deal on The DSW's for 50% off and they were fine in the smaller early snowfalls this winter, but then when it really started coming down I went and found myself a deal on some dedicated snow tires. The michelins handle much better than the continental's, so I kinda phase through the seasons with the 3 sets now.

IDK if you saw the post on facebook TSE page, I had the same thing happen to my front passenger wheel this morning, thought I swerved wide enough to miss it and suddenly BAM followed by the TPS low tire light and a heavy pull to the right... Fortunately I was only about two miles from the house and was able to make it back before it went totally flat and swapped my snow tires back on. I dropped it off at Tires Unlimited on Telegraph at 5 mile a little bit ago and they are supposed to get it back to perfect for $65.

I am still trying to figure out what TSE stands for, all I know is that it seems like a much classier group than the woodward groups...

lol, thanks for defining it, I was completely lost...

My wheel is done, I didn't make it down there to pick it up before they closed today, I will let you know how it looks when I get it tomorrow.

This is how it looked this morning:

lol. I wish I lived closer, I would have helped you out. I have 3 sets of rims with tires mounted and a 4th set of tires, I could have spared one to get you back on the road...

I love going on the woodward pages and trolling the idiots that take those pages seriously....

Completely understand you there. I decided to use my 162s as winter wheels, and now two of them are bent. Now I need to buy new summer wheels and at least two new winter wheels fml

Appreciate the thought. I was a mile away from home. I ended up leaving the car in the parking lot on the flat and taking care of it the next morning. It was annoying, since that was the morning of the damn winter storm blizzard thing.

225M's, factory 335is option in '11 (last year of them, not sure when they were offered on the 335i M-sport).

Gorgeous but the such pain in the ass to clean.

Exterior Mods Done!

Just got my car back from shop with all exterior mods done. LTMW 1M front bumper with Slek CF lip, MTech rear bumper with Arkym diffuser, M3 side skirts, BMW CF trunk spoiler, BMW CF mirror covers, smoked side blinkers. Threw in an Akrapovic evolution exhaust while it was in the shop.

Motorwerks did all the work in only 3 days. Awesome experience working with them these guys know their stuff!!! Proper photo shoot and more aggressive wheel spacers coming once weather warms up a little.
