Any word from Cobb on their N55 AP tune?

Per Cobb, its a while before they roll it out... It could be after summer if not later :-(

I waited for about 4 months. Finally I couldn't take it anymore. I broke down and got a jb4. It is noticeably faster.

I figured ill enjoy it until the reviews are in for the Cobb. The see if the upgrade is worth it.

I still have yet to get the JB4 up on a dyno... I can't get real logs from it driving on the road. WOT in 4th ends up being a bit fast for a public highway towards redline. I'm running map 5 (auto tune?) right now and it's been doing well.

Gonna try to squeeze a bit more juice out of it.

What are your mods? I am completely stock. Terry told me just to leave it on map 1.

Do you notice a difference between map 1 and 5?

Just do a CSV log and email it to BMS and they can help you check it over. Logging is as good as anything else out there. Only parts missing are advance on 2-6, you only get advance on cyl1 with the JB4, but it's good enough.

They have a N55 335i test car since june, IMO they are already working on something.

I agree too, they ARE probably working on something. But as far as the release date, it will definitely be after they release the N54 Pro Tuner...at least that's what they told me.

I can imagine that a fair number of people would hold off on PPK, JB and Dinan, if - at the bare minimum - Cobb would post update on progress (I know I would).

yeah they sucks on this, they dont create any momentum, no news. I dont ask for the exact date and technical news but could they at less tell us vague news "we are working on it hard and full time, bla bla bla".

I give them the winter, if no news in april I will move on with JB4.
