New Tire Time- Spring/Summer Performance

I have a 328xi that I just bought 18" CSL reps for. I have been researching many different tires and reading many reviews.

I want to hear some real world reviews on cheaper performance tires. I have been looking at the General Exclaim or Continental ContiSport tires. I want great handling, longevity, but no need for snow driving as these are my summer set.

Tirerack has a review on performance summer tires that gave the Sumitomo HTR Z III higher marks than the Bridgestone RE050's, ContiSport 3's and Yokohama ADVANs. however, I haven'tseen any real-world reports about these. Hopefully some users will come back to this post.

And yes, there are some bad Sumitomo tires that people have had issues with, but they're typically a different model. Would be great to see what users of the HTR Z III have to say.

I would NOT touch Generals if my life depended on it and I sell them. I would go with Falken FK452 all the way for the money.

Garage List
2013 BMW M3  [10.00]
2015 BMW M4  [0.00]
2013 BMW F30  [0.00]
2014 BMW F22  [0.00]

The Contisports & Exclaims are in 2 different ball parks. What kind of money are you looking to spend? Something with exceptional grip and affordable? or something with great quality and grip? I would look into Kumho SPT's or Yokohama S.Drives for a middle ground.
