What tire size should I run with out rubbing on a KW v3 lowered E92.

I have 19x8.5 +30 ET fronts and 19x10 +35 ET rear.

Thumbs up

Ok, since no one has given me any input, I decided on Matte Black Forgestar CF5 deep concave wheel (super light at 22lbs) with the following specs front 8.5x20 et33 235/30/20 rear 9.5x20 et35 275/25/20. that puts the fronts +1mm inside +10mm outside and rears +2mm +10mm. I think the 20's look nicer and with the offset moves the wheels out 10mm front and rear the 30/25 profiles will match stock diameter pretty darn close. Please, if anyone has thoughts on anything different let me know why.

Oh, and the only draw-back is the price, this set-up is going to cost me about $1000 more than 19's because of custom offset and limited tire selection. I'm going with Nitto's.

Hi there, hope someone can shoot some advice here. I'm planning on replacing the Wheel Style 189 on my 2009 E93, thing is, I found an unbeatable deal including tires but the wheels are 19" style 313 for a Z4. I verified the offset numbers on both my current set and the one coming. Here's what I've got using the offset calculator.
FRONT
CURRENT STYLE 189 8X18, 225/40/18 OFFSET 34
NEXT STYLE 313 8X19, 225/35/19 OFFSET 29
DIFF 0.453 %. 5mm MORE clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 5mm

REAR
CURRENT STYLE 189 8.5X18, 255/35/18 OFFSET 37
NEXT STYLE 313 9X19, 255/30/19 OFFSET 40
DIFF -0.016 % 9mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 3mm

Do you think these numbers are ok, will not make the car look weird or affect the handling ?. I'll post pics and feedback once they are installed, can't wait !!!

Thank you all for any help you can provide.

Good Luck

The 313 for the e9x are 19x9 ET37 and 19x9 ET39, so the ones for the Z4 are 8mm for aggressive in the front, and 1mm less aggressiv ein the rear, but they will work on your e93.

Hey guys, I have a e92 335 guy who wants to buy my wheels, but I am leaning toward them being too aggressive to work. They are 20x8.5" +16 and 20x10" +25. I figure the rear wheels will work with a stretched tire, but I am worried about the fronts. What are your thoughts?

For those sizes we recommend 235/40/18 and 265/35/18. Shouldn't have any issues running specs like that.

I'm still debating if I should install my KW V1 first and let them settle down and install my rims/tires or just do everything at the same time. What do you guys thinks? Also, would this rim/tire set-up work with modification on the fenders?

Apologise for the lack of detail.

Yes just the front.

I'm on 19x9.5 +33 255/30/19 with 12mm spacer (Rear) and I actually rub if anyone is interested. I had to grind some metal parts to make it not rub so it's not the actual fender that rubs.

Thanks for the helping @~XxTeexX~. Will I rub if I switch spacer? 12mm in front instead of 10mm?

if your final specs are with spacers is 9.5 +21, your cheapest solution will be to roll/hammer the rear panels and add -.5 of camber. 255.30 on 9.5 is not enough stretch to clear anything esp during compression. A 10mm wont matter at this point either, you will need to shave off some material near where the panel meets the rear bumper. Youre basically pushing the boundary of being flush without stretch trade off is your rubbing.

Yes, effectively I will be running 255/30/19 with 9.5 +21. I am on -2.5 rear camber now.

Thanks! That's what I reckon as well, I have shaved a bit but it is not enough unfortunately, I'll probably try to shave more since you said switching from 12mm to 10mm won't make much different in this case.

275/35/18 (9.5 ET38) & 245/40/18 (8.5 ET35) on stock e92 335 sport suspension?

Car: 2008 e92 335 with stock sport suspension
Tires: Michelin Pilot Super Sports
Front: 245/40/18 on 18x8.5 ET35 rims
Rear: 275/35/18 on 18x9.5 ET38 rims

Question: Will these fit my car without rubbing or should I go with the 265/235 combo instead?

Thanks in advance!

Car is a 2009 e92 328xi
Currently just have the stock 17's on there.
Want to put 18's on, does anyone have a recommendation on getting the tires close to flush with the fender, what width i would be looking for?

Thanks!

Hey guys, I was wondering if these will rub, I have an e92 not lowered and without rolled fenders. I want to run 19x9 ET35 and 19x10 ET38 with 245/35/19 and 275/30/19. Will this work? Thanks in advance for your help!

Car : 2009 E92 335XI on stock XI suspension. No plan to drop the car at all in the future.
Tire : Bridgestone Potenza RE050A RFT

Looking to change my 189 wheels to VMR VB3. Already figured out the rear (18x9.5, ET33 on 255/35/18) but for the front i'm trying to figure out wich offset to go with. I already know I will go with 18x8.5 on 225/40/18 but not sure wich offset to go with between ET35 or ET40. My reseller suggest that I go with ET40 and nothing else but when I look on the calculator I see :

ET35 :
7mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 5mm

ET40 :
12mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will extend to THE SAME point as the stock wheel

I assume they suggest to go with 40 because the wheel stay the same on the outside.

Any help appreciated ! Offset is one of the thing I always have hard time to figure out. Should I follow my dealer suggestion ET40 or should I go with ET35.
