Im down. Ive had too many bad encounters with poker on trips to Vegas and online to even want to play it, even for free money. Horrible, horrible beats leave bad tastes.....

I don't think any of use are that good. I've gotton before with a 4 of a kind over a straight flush king high. It sucks!

I was all in, $500ish out on the table in Vegas, post flop nut flush and the guy had KK and hit K, K on turn and river to beat me......the pot was well over 1500 too....since that hand I havent played. Too many times have I been caught with the guy needing runner-runner and catching it. I vowed I just wont play anymore. Im almost at the point of that too even with blackjack now lol.

what were up holding in your hands? So he ended up with 4 of a kind K's?

It was a 5-10 table, I had A-J hearts, he raised pre flop to $50, one call, two calls, I was small blind, I called. Flop came numbers all hearts. He fires $100, a guy goes all in over the top for whatever he had, I pushed my stack in (the guy had around $200 or so I had him covered), he calls me, Im up against trips and KK. I was like fuck yea, unless the one guy pairs the board Im good. Well he paired the board but did no good because runner runner KK came. Not happy was, I left the table in disbelief, this after taking beatings at a lower 1-1-3 table (yes those exist) and putting my final $40 in a slot and hitting a $586 jackpot, then having a $600+ run on craps. So I had made it all back in the true vegas fashion only see most of that go away on some complete and utter crap.

It's all about luck. I've pulled a couple runner runners myself.

What about Braun's Bar and Grill right next to the Pepsi Center Thurdsday at 7:00 pm? I have a couple buy on entree get one free that I can give away. I just threw it out there. If something can think of something better, please let us know. I figured that I would do it right in downtown because it's a fair drive right in the middle for everyone. (except Matt because he can walk there)
