E92 M3 XPipe
Hi guys, would any of you consider having a cat bypass /X Pipe (secondary cats only) made by companies like Powerflow Exhausts etc?
I have a friend who owns an E92 M3, he has had an xpipe made from a similar outfit for about 10% of the cost of a branded product. I am not brave enough to fit a product on to my car which has had no R&D or testing. It would be good to hear your views or on this. The engine/exhaust note sounds awesome he’s not had dyno before or after. The car shows no engine light and seems to rev a lot smoother than my car. I have tried search but didn’t get much back Thanks |

How much mileage has he done since the cats have been taken out? I am very suprised that the EML has not come on as even 100 cel cats will make the EML come on after 50 + miles.

Hello again mate, his cars done just over 6k miles total and 300miles since this xpipe. The 1st lot of cats are still in place it is just the secondary cats that have been removed. The 'exhaust sensor’ is still in place so no engine light. |
