Poor international customer service @ Alpinemss

Hey Guys,

I just wondered if any of the local customers in the US have experienced issues getting replacement parts from Alex@Alpinemss? The first time i needed a replacement due to DOA took 2 months. Its now been 6weeks+ since i contacted alex and he has now stopped responding to pms & mails. Seeing as he is a forum sponsor i thought they would have better service towards forum members atleast. The ballasts have been causing issues (lamp errors) since day 1 on my Alpine HIDs but i've ignored them for now, an issue that isn't even supposed to happen on these lights. Now however i'm starting to think it might just be poor quality seeing as 2 parts have broken AND that they never functioned properly from the start

Has anyone else experienced these issues with either alex or the HIDs they sell?

/Dave

I am in the UK...
I had alpine HID AE when I first got my car.
A bulb failed prematurely after 3 months.
He promised many times to re send a new bulb... This was after many times of me attempting to contact him.

He still did not send the bulb and it has been a year. So I chucked his piece of s hit HIDs in the bin.
BTW they were not meant to have errors... BUT THEY DID!

Can't decide on whether to be happy or sad that i'm not the only one. Thanks for posting Josh, hopefully we can bring these issues to light so that other potential buyers don't have to suffer as we have.

BTW i also had the HID AngelEyes but with 8.5k bulbs. One ballast DoA and one lamp (most likely been failing all the time) but now stonedead at around 10 months usage.

I think you will have more luck posting in the vendor reviews/comments section.

Well i'll be throwing these POS in the garbage when i get home. Just picked up a new pair from a different vendor. Too bad alpinemss doesn't care about their customers. Will never recommend them to anyone i know in any forum or this when asked.
