ABS pump Light

Hi guys

While i was driving home today (E90 323i), the "DTC off" symbol and Handbrake light went on...

searched online and now i think its an issue with ABS pump.

Any idea on where i can find a good deal on this? or maybe it can be rebuilt?
(I am in Hong Kong)

thanks in advance

check whether if it is caused by ABS sensor or pump first.

ABS sensors costs you hundreds per unit (one per wheel)
ABS pump costs you about HK$ 20k

Already checked is the pump problem.
I wonder if anyone know how to rebuild it instead of replacing.

Thanks.

A good start is to go to BMW or a garage with a computer to find out exactly what error codes are being logged. The cost difference for an ABS pump vs ABS sensor is huge.

Thanks Everyone.

In Hong Kong, are there any specific shop you can refer me to fix this problem with a reasonable price?

Many thanks.

Agreed, it could be just a simple abs sensor throwing off an error. You could always replace the sensor first and clear the errors to see if the errors reappear. I have had the same issue on my E90 also, however it was just a sensor replacement.
