Water on floor in passengers back seat

yes I searched...

Its only on the rear passenger floor. I sprayed air into my sunroof drain tube to try to unclog it if it was clogged. But after our rainstrom today, there was quite a bit of water on my floor, coming from underneath the floormat.

I would appreciate some help, I really dont like the humidity inside the cabin or the rapidly fogging windows haha.

That doesn't sound good. Are you still under warranty?? If so, take it to the dealer

If not, then bump.

I had the exact same problem in my 2004 E46. The tube actually disconnected from the joint from the sunroof to the part in the A pillar. This caused water to just go wherever it wanted. Was terrible. Had to replace all the carpet and foam.

I agree with other guy here, have mechanic check it out but it sure seems like something to do with sunroof and that drainage tube.

shooot, So I cant just remove the Pillar and visually examine it? Im not under any warranty, last time I went to the dealer I had to file a rape report at the police station.

Lol...!

The E46s also used to have a problem with the vapor barrier on the inside of the door panel go bad, that would cause water to enter through the door panel into the carpet area... Just pop the door panel out and see if the vapor seal looks visually 'not factory-like'.. If someone took it apart to fix a regulator or something, the seal may not have been put back correctly..

The sunroof would be my best guess as well, at what psi did you push air through the sunroof drain ?, bc my next door neighbor was out there with a dust off can lol, i was like wtf that's not gonna do anything. I have also heard under the back carpet are floor drains as well , but im not certain of this, can someone who has lifted the back carpet, confirm ?
good luck with those foggy windows. lol
