335is PICKUP WEDNESDAY!!!!

Seems like they're all starting to come in now!!! Tint & clear bra is on, need to remove those 335is badges yet. I really like the sunroof delete, such a clean roof line, & headliner (I presume)!

I really think a black carbon fiber roof would look better with those mirrors and grilles. It looks too plain on top right now.

Beautiful car tho

Spoken like a true M3 enthusiast! You're right, a CF roof would really tie in the tint & blacked out trim. I've seen roofs wrapped in CF vinyl that look pretty good, may look into it. There are some pretty good products out there now. At any rate, it will be easier to do w/o a sunroof. Thanks!

I think it would look better with a gloss black roof instead of CF. But nice looking car with or without the roof. GRATZ!

Congrates. Yes CF Roof is a must. I wish I was able when I ordered mine. And you got the right rims. I also wanted the 19" 313 Rims.

How did you get the 19" 313's? Does BMW offer them as an option now?

Yes they do. About $1000 as I recall.

It will look great without the badges! Don't forget those little cheap looking ones below the fender blinkers. Also, Bimmian offers a clear LED blinker to replace the amber ones.

Local dealer has a nice 335is in stock -- black, prem, CW, DCT, 19" wheels but not 313s. Awesome car, but sticker is 20k more than I got my 335 for via ED in 2006. I am afraid to ask what good deals they have, plus I really don't want a black car in this Missouri sun.

congrats! 19" 313's are the definitely way to go, after all it is an 'is' as for the roof go gloss black if you decide to.

I got this one for $500 over invoice through Costco. Black looks great when it's clean but it adds about 25 degrees to the interior temp here in the desert, takes the A/C much longer to cool the cabin. They're usually the last ones on the lots here but people still buy them. I think they get pretty good deals.

That's probably a better alternative since there is zero CF on the car. It would match the shadow line trim & mirrors. I'll do a photoshop mockup & see what it looks like.

CF has a purpose in structural design but CF trim is a fad. 10 years from now, you'll be able to date a car by how much CF is on it - same as an avocado colored frig!

Well there may be no CF trim but the M3 has none either. it is an actual weight savings. So do what is done on the E46 M. I Had my roof cut off in place for my CF roof on my E46 M3. If I could have deleted my sunroof I would have put a CF roof off the M3.

They really fill the wheel well - almost the same size as those on the R8, if you can believe it! If the ride is too harsh, the first thing I'll try is offing the RFTs for some Toyo T1R Proxes. I had some 15s on my 89 325is and love those tires!
