just stopped past The Greene, and they're certainly ready for us--with parking blocked on Holly, Juniper, and Magnolia streets!

Bring a shammy--it'll stop raining!

Hey I just got back..weather turned out perfect for the second half of the day and the venue was AMAZING, had a great turnout as well...there were a lot of photos being taken so I'm sure they will be up here shortly. I got to meet a ton of outstanding people and I look forward to doing it again!

So what do you think Jarell? Oktoberfest????

It was great meeting everyone. Great job organizing it! The weather really turned out great in the end. Here's a few pics to start out with. I still have a few more to go through.

I really don't have a 335Li, but rather its just the distortion from the wide angle lens.

5% tint! Cool car

lol, the guy on stilts told me he was looking for a car with a lot of legroom.

I think it's safe to say we might not see any pictures of the Z4, seeing as it was never there for more than 30 seconds.

Great job putting this together guys. The venue worked well, nice turnout. The cars were superb. My wife got to test drive the 750i at the end and she was thrilled.

Hey Todd, you could call it Bimmer Festivus since the other one is already taken, haha.

Very nice! I wish I was able to make it... perhaps next time.

It looks like the turnout was good, and the venue was great!

Thanks again everyone for coming out...in the end the weather cooperated and the turnout was way better than what we were anticipating with the rain early. Awesome cars, really awesome and what was even better...the people, everyone was really wonderful and I just made a shit ton of new friends. HUGE thanks so much to Jarelle for helping to put this event together at the Greene and to Mike for helping to do pretty much everything as well, it was a team effort and I look forward to us all getting together again soon. Killer pictures by the way Snareman and foxman...I am sure there will be many more pics posted, at least I hope so. As of yesterday there was already talk of a fall meet...hmmm, I guess well see?!? Cheers, to everyone who made it out, I truely enjoyed meeting all of you and hopefully next time we can get more people to join in our fun and festivities, and pray that mother nature cooperates a little more next time.

ps - nice name idea...that is not trademarked is it?!? LOL

Yea, I was thinking next year sounded too far away...

I met Ann Conrad last night at The Pub and talked to her about it/thanked her. I got to the Pub around 10:30 and the 750 was parked right out front (you don't see many 750's randomly parked around here so it sort of stood out). It was great they were able to bring some cars out. Hopefully they'll get something out of it.

I just wanted to again thank EVERYONE that came out yesterday!
We were like the mailman -- Thru rain or shine.... We delivered! But the weather cleared up second half of the day.:

I met a ton of great people, and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Got to see some sick, ass cars, and people who are just as obsessed with there cars as I am.
I found out that I wasn't the only one that got "the look" from there girlfriend when I start talking about my car.

Special thanks to Curt2000, and Cincy335i, hkyplaynazn, Helping get this all together. Without you guys this could have never happened!

Curt you really should think about a career in museum curating! I mean you hand first hand accounts, and stories about everything. Next time I get to the DYT i'll need to check out that experimental hanger.

Greybeard its a shame we couldn't get that Donut contest going in the parking lot!

OKTOBIMMER-Festivus, LOL Great name! and awesome pictures! Foxman & Snareman.

Until next time Fellas, and fellettes.

all I can say at this point is "schnell, baby, schnell"

!!!

"festivus" is sooooooooooo right! I may look into getting it protected for just our use--seriously.

you guys were great; I'll follow you anywhere; really liked the venue this time, and with some work it could be perfect

except the manager there at the end put a real damper on my enthusiasm to try again. Runthis, are you impressed that we could actually work with the guy again?

the location is wonderful because of the "euro street" setting, places for us to eat and hang, and all the public passing by. more promotion next time and it could be an absolute killer show! some of us could work on it for the next year and make it so awesome we'd end up dying of ecstacy!

october needs to be cincy or west chester or mason, eh?

or columbus at Easton Center or Polaris? holy cow, park the cars inside Polaris Mall!

I'm already dying.

Nice! so what's this I head about the manager giving you guys a hard time at the end of the night?

Be sure to let me know when you guys are ready to set up the next event, I will be more than happy to help out beyond the museum curator position

He jumped all over somebody about the 4 of us being parked on the street in front of Adobe Gila's. The move wasn't the problem....it was his manner and his verbiage. Just hateful and sarcastic and insulting. VERY unprofessional.

But so long as he gets over it, and that's not his usual MO, I'm up for going back next year same time. It seems just perfect for us.

Maybe they'll move him to their new center in Anchorage (Alaska).
