New 335is vert!!!

Hey all- I was so happy with my 135i vert.
Then I drove the 335is....I love it a lot better than the M3- it's a lot smoother.
I had gotten so used to the one, I didn't notice how rough the ride was.
The same RFT's I was cursing every day now feel smooth as silk......
The dealer was so glad to take my low mileage, loaded 135, they paid 4 of the the last six lease payments.
We drove out in a Sapphire Black /Red Dakota vert the same day.
Smiling ever since......
I never thought I'd love an automatic tranny so much.

Ahhh, ain't life grand?

When you said "they paid 4 of the the last six lease payments.", are you sure they did not roll the 4 payments to your next purchase?

Photobucket's giving me some problems today- I'll have photos up later....
About the payment- I first got a price if I was to get rid of the car myself, then had them build in an early turn in.
Since is was the last day of the month, I think they were a little more willing to bend- also that my 135 is a loaded 6 speed- hard to find- so they came down $3000 in the money I had to put down with the early turn in, while maintaining the same monthly lease payment.....

i think that if you lease a limited edition- or harder to find car, then take really good care, and put low miles on it- and you know how to sell a car online- you can actually do OK buying it and selling it yourself.
I would have done that with my 135- and probably saved another few grand- but the sound and feel of the 335is was just too seductive to walk away from- plus it's a pain to sell the car privately, even if you know how.....

It is quite common towards the end of a lease (less than 6 months) that the dealer is willing to pay the last few payments so that they can get you into a new car. Towards the end of our last two x5 leases bmw kept spamming us with emails to get a new car and they would pay the last 3-6 payments. I know mercedes does this as well and I am assuming other companies do as well.

I believe it changes the temperature of the air coming through the upper vents when you just have the outside air blowing through (no A/C). Can't say I've ever used it.

It changes the temp of the air coming out of the front vents. You can have the heat on and have cool air in your face or the air on and have warm air in your face or any combo of the above. I hate it. It seems kind of redundant with the auto climate controls.

Not redundant at all - it lets you adjust the relative tempurature of the air to your face vs. your feet. This is WONDERFUL! Most cars don't let you do this, but virtually all older European cars let you have fresh air at face level and warm air to your feet. My feet are always cold, but I like cool air at face level. Helps you stay awake on long drives too. One of my favorite features of the car.

The fact that a salesman did not know what this is scares me a little.

I think the only other difference besides the fog lights is that the vert does not have shadow trim around the glass, vert has chrome.
