Forgestar F14 Questions
Guys I've heard and seen posts on the Forgestar F14 in 18" but can't find a carrier for BMWs. I'd rather have 18" over 19" because the difference in unsprung weight for the price makes them an even better deal. Anybody know who's selling these in 18"? Also those of you that have the 19" did you come across any problems getting them mounted and balanced the sponsors are saying they can't mount them because they are a custom wheel so it makes me question buying wheels that could present a problem trying to get them mounted in San Antonio TX...aka truck country.
FYI stats on the 18" 18x8.5 17.6lbs 18x9.5 19.4lbs 18x10 19.2lbs General Exclaim UHP weigh 21lbs 235/40/18 and 24lbs 265/35/18 The 19" by comparison are 5lbs heavier which makes them slightly lighter than other 19" wheels |

Most shops can mount/balance 18" wheels/tires, its not nearly as difficult as a 19" combo and most machines can do it. Some shops would charge more only because they need to have a manager look over the technician while it is being done. But call ahead to some shops, even check Tirerack's webpage for installers.

I have F14s in 19 and I think you'll regret getting them in 18. They'll look too small. Either way, good choice in wheels. If you do decide to go with 19s, hit up Eric.
