17x8 et20 (style 5) square tire sizes

Any recommendations for tire size for a set of 17x8 style 5s? 225/45/17? Possibly spacers in the rear? I have an 06 325xi so they will clear the calipers, looking to stay as close to the stock tire size as possible. I'm also on stock suspension with no intention of going lower.

Yes, go 225/45/17.

Yes 225/45/17 is good solution. I have 17x8 et20 winter setup on my e90 pre-lci with 10mm spacer at rear with 225/45/17 and im lowered.

Any pictures of the rear? I was thinking of going with the 10mm H&R spacer/adapter.

Sure here,
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...9&postcount=30

My wheels are with 74.1mm center bore, so i have 10mm spacer and hub centric rings 74.1->72.6 between spacer and wheel. My spacers are H&R Trak+ Part nr 2075725

perfect, exactly what I needed to know. I'm going to go with the H&R trak+ adaptors to reduce the number of pieces between hub and wheel.

I was going to do the same, but decided not to, because i wanted to use same spacers for my summer wheels which are 72.6 hub bore.
