My car identifies itself as an E93

It is incredibly rude and offensive to assume an E9X's configuration. The code is nothing more than a number some engineer came up with when it was manufactured. Ever since my car rolled off the assembly line, it knew it was supposed to be an E93. It has a sunroof, and I open it all the time. Convertibles see the sky, so does my car.

From now on, always refer to any E90, E91, E92, and E93 by E9X. Just because a sedan is a sedan doesn't mean it's a sedan. Just because a car is a hatchback doesnt mean it isn't a sedan. Just because a coupe is a convertible doesn't mean it's not a truck. We live in a new era now. Four door coupes are finally being accepted for what they are: sedans. M3 "coupes" are being changed to trucks, and they should be accepted for what they truly were supposed to be. Please be respectful.

The problem is that people take it seriously and believe it.

I found it hilarious, wow my night is boring.

The 2-door E30 was classified as a "2-door Sedan" by BMW.

I felt that this would be a valuable contribution to the forum.

Or some shit like that.

After nearly seven years in an E46 325Cic, I am now in a 335i. I see it as a coupe and I doubt that it wants to be seen as a sedan, SUV or even an M despite others attempts to disguise their own as one, but it's just a machine and it has no emotion but it evokes emotions in me. It's your car, do with it what you will.

OK let me clear the air a bit.

I consider Jam to be one of our best forum members- and a friend on here as well, who has helped me more times than I can remember.

As such, I honestly thought...well I don't know what I thought, but I guess I couldn't understand the post so that's all I could come up with. Sorry buddy.

I can see others get the picture, and I can only say that BMW has become absolutely ridiculous with all of these different trim lines and names they're coming up with- two doors with a 4 in the trim line name, four doors with 2 in the trim line name.

They have become a watered down brand that tries to market to every Tom Dick and Harry, and it's really just a shame for those of us who can still recall the days of a more...well...pure brand.

Perhaps they've changed out of greed, or perhaps out of the necessity to survive.

In any case, this will definitely be the last BMW I own.

What with the increase of cost cutting cheap materials and measures taken on every new line of BMW since the E chassis, and removal of some of the most essential components that made a BMW what it is, once this vert goes- whether by my own hand, or through selling it- I'm done.

Be honest DK, your new bride is preggers and you're soon going to be trading in the Dinan e93 for one of those Lexus SUVs?

I believe the big 3 German luxury automakers discrimate against people with Dyscalculia. What sort of an asshole combines letters with numbers anyway.
