Hello people,
I am running this setup on 17" wheels on my e92 325xi. I am using these wheels only for today and tomorrow( roughly 15-20 miles driven on them total). My question is: will this damage the x-drive system? I know these aren't the recommended wheel specs for AWD. Will 20 ~ ish miles damage my X-drive system if i keep driving with them on?

Rolling diameter has to be identical on Xdrive, so a square setup is recommended.
In your case, you have .3 " diameter less on one than the other. https://tiresize.com/calculator/ One is also wider than the other, so grip differs also. You also have 9 complete revolutions per mile difference between them, which has to be compensated by the xdrive system somehow.... Not recommended. |

Yup, that i knew, i was wondering if it would hurt for a day.
It didn't, but the car was jerky so i would not recommend it.
