Clutch delay valve delete or mod

Anyone locally done the CDV delete or mod? I'm interested but don't feel so comfortable doing it myself. Also interested in opinions on whether or not its a worthwhile mod.

DO IT!!!!! It is sooooo worth doing!!! You can not believe you waited so long to do this mod once you feel the improvement in pedal feel/shifting.

Do a search on "DIY CDV delete". I posted mine pics here:

You will not regret this mod I assure you!

Your post is what led me to posting in the northwest thread...to see if anyone in the Washington/Oregon area has done it. I am moderately mechanically inclined...but a bit intimidated at pulling apart much on my $50,000 car.

it is not hard to do this CDV delete. Just read the DIY. Maybe IF you have a handy man friend to help you out as well.

The hardest part will be to get a proper wrench up in there - on the bleed screw (11mm 12pt) and make sure you have some sort of pressure bleeder. Or... have a good independant garage - do this for you. They should not charge more than an hour's labor. You don't even need any parts! But if you want to remain stealth... buy an extra CDV and pop out the restrictor.
