Passenger side angel eye
I did research and was not able to find what I was looking for. My passenger side angel eye will not turn on. I was wondering where I should start to see what the issue is. My initial thought was maybe a fuse, but I have no check engine light. What do you guys think it could be? I do have coding done for the corner amber led delete. I have a 07 e92. Appreciate any help, thanks!!

No the bulb is fine. I have LED angel eyes in from e92lightnings. I'm pretty sure its the fuse, I was wondering if someone else had an idea what else could it be besides the fuse. My initial thought was with a blown fuse I would get a CEL but nothing.

How do you know the bulb is fine if it's not lighting up? Did you swap between the two sides to check?

Yes sir I did. My driver side works fine, and when I installed it on the passenger side it would not light up. I wonder if a blown fuse would trigger a silent cel. I know when my low fuel pressure sensor was bad there was no cel, the dealer found out when they checked the codes.

Was it working fine before hand? Or did you just install it and it's not working now? I think it's the fuse or if you played around with things maybe the wiring. I recently had the same problem with the LED AE's

Prior to putting the LED angel eyes in, I had HID angel eyes in. The ballast went bad on the passenger side one (after testing it made sure it was the ballast). Once I removed the HID's and installed the LED's no light ever since, and no CEL either.

I had a similar problem with my car.
What caused - and also ironically fixed - the problem was putting the key in the ignition and pushing the start/stop button without starting the car. What I did: 1. Set lights on AUTO. 2. DRLs set to "on" (on iDrive). 3. Put key into ignition. 4. Pressed "Start/Stop". Not sure if this will work for you, but it worked for me. |
