Jet Black E92 382xi with M Tech front, M3 skirts, etc

I had these mods done a while back, but I'm finally getting around to posting some pics on here.

I first want to say thanks to Frank at **********s, which is where I bought my replica M-Tech front bumper, M3 side skirts, and matte black kidney grilles. Also shout out to High Tech Auto Body in Elsmere, DE for doing the install and paint. And finally, thanks to anyone on this forum that answered any of my stupid questions or pm's.

Now on to the pics.

These first 2 were taken the same week I bought it, right before I had it tinted, which was almost a year ago.

This was a pic I took one night after work, it shows the tint.

Now, after the mods:

As y'all can probably see I had the chrome window trim painted as well, which is a big improvement IMO. I also got a black license tag, one of the benefits of being a resident of Delaware. The hood and fenders had a lot of stone chips in them, there were random scratches throughout, and a small dent in the back bumper when I first bought it, and all that stuff got cleaned up great, thanks again to High Tech.

Now I just need to buy some rims.

I've been going back and forth on 19" or 20" Vossen CV3's, and I was also looking at 20" InCurve IC-S5's, either one would be black machined.

I was also thinking about possibly doing something with the tailpipe tips.

So what do y'all think?

your new mods look really nice, and for the rear IMO you should also get an M-Tech rear to match the front

Good choice on mods. Wish black accentuated them more.

I think you should get a set of coilovers before getting wheels

Thanks. I like the OEM bumper though, I'll probably just keep it like that for now.

Thanks, I like the black, very clean look. I almost bought a white one, but I'm happy with the black.

Right I want to do something with that, but I'm not sure about the chrome, because I don't have any thing else that's chrome. The rims I'm going to get will not be chrome, so I'm concerned that if the tips were they might stand out TOO much.

Fitment was perfect, no problems whatsoever. Everything I bought from them was quality stuff, and the price was great. Very happy with them. My M3 skirts I got from them too, and they fit perfect as well.

I'd definitely like to hear more on why you'd suggest that.
I was planning on getting some H&R sport springs for my wheels.

Do you like the Vossen's:
http://www.carid.com/vossen-wheels/v...ed-351149.html

or the InCurve's:
http://www.**********s.com/InCurve-I...s-BMW-Audi.htm

I'm a little torn between the two

out of the choices given, i would go with the InCurves... as long as they're deep concave, i think that would look much more appealing...

Vossens look best when in motion: they chop - HARD.
IC's will look good either way... even better if you get some coilovers and tuck the wheels under... something i would think wouldn't look right with vossens... ^__^

Thanks for your input. So you think coilovers is the way to go to? Better than sport springs or a springs & shocks/struts combo?

Coilovers! but those are awesome mods, were gonna have almost the same identical car once I do mines next year

About the rims, go 20" if your roads there are nice and forgiving, if not then 19" but if you want go 18" for performance.

Thanks, you'll definitely have to post some pics once it's done! Why do you suggest coilovers? Do you have them on yours already?

I'm on alen's side too, mtech rear for sure. IMO it's like you're only focusing just on the front angles of the car. Really look into it!

But loving what you have planned except 20 inch rims, any vossens :

I'm pretty sure **********s will set you up nice, wait for Black Friday sale at **********s. You can pick up rims for hell of deal!

I won't get my bumpers and sideskirt till next year but yeah I have ST coilovers on my car, I love them. I was originally planning on going springs but I thought that if I didn't like the height of the springs I would of been disappointed and wasted money so do it right the first time and go coilovers, you won't be disappointed.

Thanks. At this point, I think I'll have to wait until spring to get them though

The thing is, I really don't see myself adjusting the height once I get the new wheels, so right now I'm leaning towards springs + struts.
