Retired BMW: From a 400whp TT I6 to a 200whp 4 banger
So I finally retired the 335 down to strictly DD duty. All the parts are off the car and the car is back to stock. Going from 400whp down to the stock 270whp is quite boring, but I've got a new toy thats even more entertaining.
1.8 litre's of absolute driving bliss! I can't wait to get this thing out on a track to really stretch its legs. And of course, the obligatory shots of the old car. |

I would too, though they are two very different cars. If I didn't have the 335 to daily, the lotus just wouldn't be feasible.
Haha, thanks man. Just trying to get on your level |

I wouldn't, unless it was a proper Lotus
A '71 Elan Sprint would do nicely

I spent about 12 minutes trying to figure out how to fit into an Elise we had at our dealership. Pretty much killed my Lotus aspirations right there and then. Im jealous, enjoy the new ride

PM me your number, I might have lost it when I got my new phone. We should definitely catch up.
Haha, I'm 5"11 so its not too bad for me. Theres definitely a technique and you get used to it within the first few days. All I know is, I'm glad I decided to keep my 335 for daily driving. |

Nice choice. I have a friend who has an Elise that he supercharged and did some suspension work to, and that thing is a riot. It feels terrifying to drive on the street, but if you fit comfortably in them, there is almost nothing that feels quite like it.
